Characters Name: Brianna Lynn Carver Nicknames: Brie, B Age: 17 Grade: Junior Stigmas: && Goths && Anticonformists && Loners Sexual Orientation: Bisexual History: Brianna's home life was never like she wished it was. She had an alcoholic father who used her as a human ashtray and her dying mother who was constantly in and out of the hospital for chemotherapy.
When Brianna was 7 years old, her mother was diagnosed with cancer, terminal. Her mother was a fighter and she wanted to be there for her children, Brianna and Lonny. Her mother tried her hardest to protect Brianna from things, especially her drunken father. But whenever her mother was in the hospital for treatments, Brianna's father would have at it. Brianna was just a child, she didn't know what to do in that situation. Her father would put out his cigarettes on Brianna's bare skin, causing scars to form on her body. Her mother would see them, but she didn't know what to do to stop them. Lonny was too young to understand so he couldn't say anything. The abuse continued on, but only got worse.
On September 22nd, two days before October's 14th birthday, a 7 year fight ended when the cancer finally took Brianna's mother. That's when the abuse went too far. Her father, grieving for his lost wife, lashed out on Lonny, 12 years old by doing to him what he did to Brianna, burning him with cigarette butts. But the abuse on Brianna was horrific. He sexually abused her, having nothing else for him. Raping and molesting his own daughter, out of drunken grief and rage.
Finally, Child services were called and Brianna's father was hauled off to jail for life for child abuse, rape, and pedophilia for the rest of his life. Brianna and Lonny would never see their father again, much to their relief. Now, Brianna is a junior in high school, emanicpated, and the sole guardian to her 15 year old brother, Lonnny. Personality: With people she is close with, Brianna is a bright, smiling force. With her little brother Lonny, she is always kind and sweet to him. The life they had together was enough to make them closer than close. Lonny is Brianna's life and she'd do anything for him. But when it comes to strangers, she stays inside herself, never really conversing with them unless they approach her. Depending on her mood, she is either nice to them, or a complete jerk. Thanks to her father, Brianna is gigantic trust issues and she has a hard time trusting people.
Love is hard for Brianna to handle. She's never really let anyone in enough to fall for them. After what happened to her when she was younger, being intimate with people can be kind of a challenge, especially with men. With women, it's easier for her to let herself go, but with men, its really hard for her to be intimate.
Character Appearance:
Brianna is a goth, no question. Her closet is a black abyss of black clothing and Lonny constantly mocks it. Most of her clothing is black t-shirts or wife beaters with a pair of black pants or the random blue jean if she's feeling crazy. She hates the idea of fake baking and doesn't really like being outside unless she's in the right mood. You will NEVER see her in pink, its the worst color in the world, and she hates flip flops, they are the dumbest shoe in the world, if you can even call them that.

His breath stunk of alcohol, she could smell it long before he even looked at her. Brianna scrambled to her bedroom, hoping to escape him, hoping that he would leave her alone. But it was no use, she could hear his staggering foot steps behind her. She slammed the bedroom door shut and locked the door before she could hear his pounding fists against the wood of the door.
"Bree...Come on, doll..." Her drunken, abusing father called out to her, tears rolling down her soft face as she crawled into her bed and pulled her knees to her chest. She looked to see Lonny was crying in the corner of her room, holding himself.
"Lonny, come here.." Brianna whispered to her brother and he sniffled, moving over to her onto the bed. He crawled into her lap and cried softly. Brianna could see new burns on his skin and she closed her eyes and placed her hand on his head, holding him close to her.
"You little bitch, open this fucking door!" Her father yelled before their was a honking outside. The pounding stopped, the yelling stopped. The front door opened and a speeding car left the house, taking their father with it. Brianna shuddered in relief as she held Lonny's shaking body in her arms.
"We are gonna get through this, little man.." Brianna whispered, stroking Lonny's hair. "We are gonna get through this..."
Brianna rolled out of bed slowly as the sun streamed in through her room's window. She held her head and groaned as she lifted her gaze up to the door. Every night, she dreamed about her past, nothing else. Sometimes it was alright, but most of the time, it was her father doing the same thing. Hurting her, doing things to her she would rather forget forever. She stood up slowly and looked at the clock on the nightstand with another groan. It was time for school, again and she needed to make sure Lonny was awake. At least this year was easier, they were going to the same building now. Lonny's a freshman now and she's a Junior, it helps with the transporting to school and back.
Brianna hopped into the shower quickly before going back to her room the change. As she slipped her black shirt over her head, the stereo started blasting Disturbed and she knew Lonny was awake. Thank god her brother wasn't a drone. She smiled as she slid on her black pants and put on eyeliner quickly.
She moved into the kitchen and kissed Lonny's head as she went to the fridge. Lonny smiled and looked over at her as he leaned against the counter.
"Outta milk again, sis." He said as she shoveled a spoonful of cereal into his mouth. Brianna looked at the empty bottle in the fridge before looking at him as she pulled it out.
"Gee, I wonder why, genius?" Brianna said sarcastically as she tossed the bottle to the garbage and wrote milk on the notepad on the door of the fridge. She then grabbed an apple and looked to her brother. "Come on, we're gonna be late, freak." She said with a smile as she grabbed her car keys and headed for the door, and turned off the stereo. Lonny followed close behind her as he grabbed his backpack off the floor and they left the apartment without a word.
