Winston Academy was founded in 1902 by Arthur Winston, for the children of the richest people in the city. They believed in keeping the poor kids and rich kids in different schools, so as not to spoil the education of the people who deserved it.

To this day, most of the students who attend WA are rich. But, there are a select few who have gotten in on scholarships by proving their academic achievements were up to par. Winston Academy is located in a prominent part of Los Angeles, California.

Last term, the old headmaster retired and the school changed administrative hands. It landed in one Maria Dubua's ready grip. This is her first term as Headmistresses of the school.
